Carshalton (and the surrounding area) are incredibly generous. I was approached (through my post box hats) to see if I would accept wool donations, I accepted and started to use that wool to produce warm items for the local community. So via the Craft & Chat groups I run, with local knitters and crocheters, and community groups - we produced tons of warm items – blankets, hats, scarves, glove, neck cowls and shawls. I couldn’t be more proud of our contributions. Donating to Age UK Sutton, The Riverside Centre and Sutton Nightwatch. We continue today to make warm items, with the help of wool donations  – to ensure the most vulnerable in our community are warm when its cold outside. These items are made with much love – with wool donated by the community, to give to our community.
